The photo was contributed by John Fabian, Region 9 director of the U.S. Navy Cruiser Sailors Association. John is the guitar player in the first row, second man from the right. The band leader was Ensign Roy Lang, the trombonist and the 12 fine musicians that made up a great entertaining band. Also, the Marine trumpeter was Amory Houghton, Jr. Identities of the other members are not available. If any shipmates can identify any of the other band members, please let me know and we will add them onto the website.
